Former UFC heavyweight champion, Junior Dos Santos, will return to the octagon on August 15 as part of the UFC 252 tournament, and Surinamese knockout Jairzinho Rosenstrike will become a Brazilian rival.
The organization of the match was reported by informed sources close to the situation.
36-year-old Junior Dos Santos is going through hard times in his career, losing in the last two fights by technical knockouts to Francis Ngann and Curtis Blades.
Jairzinho Rosenstrike, 32, also returns to business after losing, at UFC 249 in Jacksonville, losing by knockout to Francis Ngann already at the 20th second of the match. Prior to this, Big Boy did not know defeats and led a series of ten victories, four of which were obtained under the UFC banner.
Currently, Junior Dos Santos and Jairzinho Rosenstrike are fifth and sixth in the UFC heavyweights rating, respectively.
