Reigning UFC Flyweight Champion, Daveson Figueiredo, who will next fight to defend the belt against former UFC bantamweight title holder Cody Garbrandt, has promised not to push the fight to a decision.
ESPN sports columnist Brett Okamoto reported this with reference to the manager of the Brazilian.
“Figueiredo’s manager Vallid Ismail told me in a text message that Figueredo wants everyone to know that he is promising to knock out Cody Garbrandt. ‘Tell everyone that we will knock him out,’ “the reporter wrote on Twitter.
Garbrandt did not ignore the opponent’s attack.
“He can only hope that he will be able to do it, because I will break him,” the American replied.
As a reminder, the flyweight title fight between Daveson Figueredo and Cody Garbrandt will be the main event of UFC 255 on November 21.
